BUSINESS: BE YOUR OWN BOSS AND MAKE YOUR OWN RULES

How often are we either told “that’s not how you do it”? How often do we think to ourselves “this must be done in this way” even if it’s not the first way we would do whatever the thing may be?

Being your own boss/running your company has lots of perks, the biggest one being there are no rules! THERE ARE NO RULES! You get to make your own rules, run your company however the heck you want to! Notice I did not say there are no laws (emoji) because yes you still have to follow those pesky buggers haha.

I’m sure you know the regular typical state and federal laws you need to follow but in regards to your Intellectual Property did you know you cannot use the R circle symbol if you do NOT have a federal trademark actually registered? HOWEVER you CAN use the TM symbol at any time even if you have not filed! Of course you want to make sure no one else is using or has registered that mark and as usual, you know I’m here to help you through that!

But really, wear what you want. Create your own office environment if you’re in person (even for virtual employees). Don’t like the way the industry does something, guess what, you are you not “the industry” and you’ve created something special that will only thrive if you feel comfortable so do what you want!
